As part of the Intermodellbau 2018, MC Dortmund e.V. invited, as has been the case for many years, to its popular trade fair race. Four days full of racing action were this. On day 2 of the fair, MC Dortmund e.V. invited XRAY - Germany to a run on the XRS Offroad Germany. After the on-road race on the first day, the MC Dortmund e.V. already prepared the track for the off-road race in the evening.
The team from MC Dortmund e.V. had done a perfect job so that race director Markus and moderator Arndt could start the first training run punctually at 9 o'clock. In the heats we saw exciting and above all fair-time hunted. After three heats per class, the pole setters were determined. |

| Approximately 70 starters appeared on Friday morning for the showdown. With six classes, Off Road Fun, ORE 2wd, ORE 2wd ST, ORE 4wd, ORE 4wd ST and Short Course, there was the right class for every off-road friend. Here it turned out that the standard classes enjoy much greater popularity. |

Markus and Arndt had their schedule under control and were thus able to start punctually at noon in the final. Thanks to its high power density of the drivers was ensured for exciting races. It quickly became clear that, especially in the well - stocked standard classes, there would be tight fights.
In 2WD ST as well as in 4WD ST Marcel Röttgerkamp and Stephan Eberding became more than tight in all three finals. The two showed the audience hard but super fair duels. In the end, Marcel won the 2WD ST class, just ahead of Stephan. However, Stephan did not let that sit on top of him and turned the tables. He took the day's victory in the class 4WD ST and relegated Marcel after two gripping finals on the second podium.
In the open classes, the roles were quickly distributed. In 4wd Joe Steff did not burn anything and drove home every race from TQ. The hat-trick was perfect! Behind them, Christophe Choque, Katja Brammertz and Tobias Schuster fought for the remaining podium finishes. Tobias had Christophe and Katja on his off-road debut, but nothing to oppose. Thus, the 4wd podium was completed with Christophe and Katja in second and third place.
Even in 2WD it was tight. In the first final run, Yannic Wilcke had to fight directly against Joe Streff from the start. He won the first race by a margin of 0.5 seconds. Yannic also won the second race and thus secured the overall victory in class 2wd. Joe finished second at the end of the day. Olaf Grabaum finished third and thus felt the podium.

The most audience-friendly class was the Short Course class. Here bike to bike duels were extended. The slightly sedate acting cars have offered the greatest racing action. Thrilling races, long jumps, nice duels. In the end Stefan Maiwald, Ralf Weyl and Andreas HĂĽttepohl took the places one, two and three.
Finally, the fun class remains. Here everyone can get a taste of the offroad scene and see if the three-dimensional ride is the right thing for him. Again, there were nice races to see. After three finals, the podium was set here as well. Thomas Wetterer won ahead of Jörg Häger and Karsten Lübke.
B-final 2WD ST won: Manuel Hähnel. B-Final SC won: Frank Skerstupp. B-final 4WD ST won: Sören Brinker
In conclusion, it remains to say that the trade fair race was a complete success. The guys and girls from the MC Dortmund e.V. have really worked hard to conjure the spectators, as well as the drivers, a massive event in the hall.
